Cox Farms 2012

Cox Farms is our current fall festival tradition. It is an amazing! Boyd enjoyed it so much and we didn't have to cut our time short this year (last year Adam ended up in the hospital on the drive home due to a reaction to almonds). From "kid" friendly hay maze hikes, potato sack slides, animals, hayrides, and hay forts, we had a blast. Boyd wore his costume and was a hit just like last year.  2012 vs. 2011

Sneaking under the hay climbing fort. No grown ups allowed (they would not fit).

The big kid rope swing.

Plop!

I think he was a little freaked out. It was fast.

Hang on to your hats folks.

Firefighter to the rescue.

Out of the maze.

Kettle corn while we waited for the hayride.

Amanda joined in the fun and festivities.

This look reminded me of photos from years past.

Amazed at the sights.

Offering himself to the trolls in order to cross their bridge.

Mom and Boyd vs. Amanda on the giant slide.

We got a late start, made a surge, but came up a little short in the end. Next time I need to teach Boyd to not put his feet out to brake along the sides. But Amanda was a true racer. Look at her form.

Love this one.

This weekend we traveled to Grand Rapids Michigan to celebrate Paul and Kaitlyn's wedding.  We had a blast visiting and "partying" with family and friends. Boyd was the ring bearer and once it was all over, he said to me, "Mom, Paul and Kaitlyn should get married again"- he'd had that much fun.Congratulations to the newest family of Burla's.

Boyd clanking silverware.

Talking it up with the groomsmen.

On VERY special occasions Boyd gets to drink a little bit of Root beer. Here he is savoring a cup.

Boyd and Zeke had way too much fun together and made for some great photo ops if you could keep up.

You can even run in a tux. As long as you swap the fancy shoes for your running shoes.

Running into the sunset.

Making a wish.

Boyd and the silly boys.

The Adam Burla family. For my 30th Birthday Adam told me I could get a family photo.  Therefore, no silly faces in this one. I am so lucky to have such handsome boys.

I'll love you forever.

Allie and Clay pick Zeke and Boyd up for a ride.

Katie and Pete tried to snatch Boyd for a photo op.

We'll celebrate 5 years in November.

I LOVE the is photo!!!

Boyd tried to steal a dance with Kaitlyn for about the first 5 dances.

Paul and Kaitlyn Wedding Weekend

Heading to the wedding on the Party Bus with the guys.

Too cool.

Mom snuck on for a picture.

Dancing on the table in the Groom's area.

Tired and taking the job seriously.

Boyd stayed during the ceremony and was singing along. This was after he tried blowing out the candles from 20 feet away. He can blow really loudly. We had to take a break and move to the back before coming back up to sit by Chocolate Grandma and Papa.

Thanks Kaitlyn and Paul. The goodie boxes were awesome.

Boyd is actually trying to cut Papa's hair in this picture.

Catching a quick rest.

Playing Little Mermaid dolls with Olive.

Getting ready to build the Lego cars with Kaitlyn's family.

Thanks for the help Connor.
