Oregon

Yes the blog's sequence is out of order. Boyd's two week traveling adventure began with his first flight. He flew from St. Louis to Seattle(layover) and then on to Portland, Oregon. The airplane pictures are actually from our second flight as mom was too nervous to think about pictures on flight one. We had to walk out to plane number two it was so small. Boyd had his own boarding pass. Aunt Jenny met us in Portland and we drove to Eugene. In Eugene Boyd cheered mom on in her race by crying because it was late and the stadium crowd and announcer were so loud. Aunt Jenny was afraid I heard but I didn't. Little stinker. While we were there we enjoyed time with Aunt Jenny and beautiful weather.

Traveling Man Edition #1 Bessemer Michigan and one picture from Lost Valley Lake Missouri

On the road again. (Don't worry we are parked with the car turned off)

Aunt Jennifer (great aunt) and Uncle Pete (great uncle). Followed by the famous jumper. Hours of adult entertainment, Boyd is a wild man in his jumper.

Loving on my grandparents and listening to music.

Hanging out with Great Grandma Burla and training time with daddy. I can sit independently now.

Hanging out with the former youngest Burla, Andrew you are a cool cousin.

Uncle Paul loves me despite being jealous. I know he meant well when he told me to stop being a baby.

Funny Faces!

At the condo with Uncle Matt, Eva, Leah, and Aunt Jessica. Matt let me chew on my first beer can (it was Miller as this side of the family is from WI). Boyd also swam in the lake and wore his first pull up. Eva's pull up fit Boyd.

The many expressions of Boyd Burla

Smile!

He looks like he got caught doing something and is trying to get out of trouble ( I am sure the real face will manifest itself in years to come)

I call this one the hamburger smile.
You caught me trying to catch my monkey by his tail.

Enjoying being naked. You have to love his hot chocolate spill looking birthmark on his lower abdomen.

Boyd is a very entertaining baby. His array of facial expressions is a photographers dream(or maybe just a mothers). He works the camera and adds to his repertoire daily. The eyebrows, eyes, dimples, and mouth can all be moved so many different ways!

Boyd has been busy growing lately. Two weeks ago I took him to the doctor and he was up to 15 lbs. 13oz. (Although he was weighed with his clothes on this visit). Must be all the sweet potatoes, bananas, avocados, and squash he's been chowing down on. Good thing he figured out how to jump in his exersaucer to keep his cute baby figure (haha). He is very entertaining and wild when he jumps. Since I last wrote Boyd also enjoyed a four day vacation at Grandma and Grandpa Burla's. What would we do without them? Mom and Dad's traveling schedule has been crazy, much like the weather. Ignore the towel in the background in a later picture as our refrigerator was knocked out by a strike of lightening that took out the tree across the street. We've been enjoying time outside looking at our slow growing garden and enjoying Missouri summer before it gets too miserable. Boyd rolls over once in a blue moon now and we like to practice sitting. He is into doing sit ups as he tries to sit up from a laying position. Our bundle of joy no doubt!

Typical male

Summer time!

Jumping.

Avocado smile. Mom gave me a taste while she was blending it up.

Practicing sitting.

Remember when I was first born and this monkey held me? A little different now.

Toes in my mouth.
