May Days

A day at the park. Out on a limb being dangerous with Dad.

Burla!!!!

Trying to fill Daddy's shoes/boots.
"Helping" mom knead pizza dough

Doing squats after taking the bowl off his head. Boyd is getting taller. On this day I found out nothing is safe on the table any more.

Finally transitioned to the big tub, but the good old whale tub is still a fixture.

Advanced reader/ Grandma's secret chocolate stash finder.
Run Boyd Run. See Boyd run. Boyd actually said "run" this week (I was so proud).

Truck driver. Beware he is a long trip driver, early removal from the drivers seat does result in tantrums.

Mr. Cool.

Mom and Boyd after Mom's haircut. Boyd wanted one too. Fortunately he settled for knocking down all the product bottles from the shelves instead.

Just a few photos

Morning smile.

Still amazed that toddlers can squat and play like this. This is Boyd's new favorite toy. He loves the pegs.

Trying to do a somersault while holding the swiffer.

Obsessed with his firetruck too.

Elmo is helping him clean (Elmo's fur can collect the dust).

Boyd's getting a lot more hair. Here he is showing us his ear.

Boyd is growing taller. I found this out the hard way as he can now reach further onto the table. This week he stole 2 cookies from a cooling rack and this bag of goldfish. I think part of the reason he dumped them out was because he wanted to pick them back up and put them in the bag. Not to mention this also brought his beloved vacuum out.

Boyd and I went to Borders during the rain storm which turned into tornadoes. Boyd was a wild man (whose brilliant idea was it to have so many toys at the books store). We settled on this bus book for weathering the storm.

It actually has wheels.

That a Boyd!

Vehicle Day!

Garbage truck!

Farmer Boyd on his John Deere tractor.

Mail Delivery.

On the big cheese wagon (that's what Adam calls the bus).

Some kind of big bulldozer (I think). Mom needs to do some vehicle research so she doesn't just categorize them as tractors.

When I asked Boyd what his favorite part of Vehicle Day was he said, "Bus". Sorry Garbage truck, the bus won. I had an inkling since Boyd kept running to the bus cutting in line to try to get on board. I'm not ready to send him to school yet, so for now we'll just watch the buses drive by in the neighborhood.

Boyd will be Boyd

Snuggles and smiles at the end of the day.

The "I am getting redirected face."

Angel toddler.

Good Morning! Wearing Daddy's shirt.

"Driving" with Grandma.

The whine face.

Reading his current favorite book, How do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight.

Sitting in his chair.

Future yard of the year.
