Busy and productive can explain life since the last post. My mom visited last week and had a case of "nesting," more than I have had. Adam's brother commented that it is the neatest he has ever seen any of our residences- lets hope it stays that way. We also put together the crib. Raggedy Ann now rests on the mattress rather than in the car seat. Adam was proud of this change. We also picked up a couple "on sale" baby clothing items. When we showed them to Adam he commented that he was already tired of yellow and green and was ready for blue. We both think it is going to be a boy, although last night I dreamt that we had twin girls. Wouldn't that be a surprise. One of the girls was able to roll over soon after birth. I was kind of sad when I woke up and it was a dream, I am so excited to meet our baby.
Last Friday was Halloween. Adam drew a pumpkin on my belly with crayola markers for baby and my costume. I loved it! Adam's dad and brother were our first trick or treaters. They tricked us. After them we decided to sit outside and wait for the kids. Adam complained that I bought crappy candy and was paranoid that there was not enough. It didn't stop him from giving the younger trick or treaters a ton of candy each, or from Adam, my mom, and I eating a forth of the candy as we sat there. Grandma to be actually sat and watched a movie later that night too. Write that in the record books as she never sits still long enough to do stuff like that. I think it was partially because she had her hand on my belly and baby was showing off for her.
Today I had my 30 week check up. Baby did not like the nurse invading it's privacy and getting its heart rate (138). It started kicking up a storm. All appears well. I also got a flu shot while I was there. I love the baby!!! Birthing class is Saturday. I am excited and can't wait to see how Adam handles it. It will be nice to tour the birthing center and nursery. I'll post more then as baby and I need to go spend some time with daddy.
