Big 4 month old

Boyd turned 4 months last week. He is now 12 lbs. 15 oz and 24 and 1/4 inches long. His head circumference was his highest percentile (45th). He continues to be a constant source of entertainment and joy. He is very smiley and now makes us laugh by eating his hands and by making sounds of his own. He has started laughing as well. Last week marked the beginning of hot Missouri weather and Boyd's discovery of his toes, since socks are no longer needed. He likes to lay on his back and reach for his feet. In the process he rocks from side to side-almost rolling over. Today we tried to give Boyd his first taste of rice cereal to see what he would do- enjoy the pictures (we decided to wait another month). We love him like crazy!
