Ok, so another new post before a developmental summary. Boyd has been cracking me up today(even more than normal). Today he was running around the yard doing laps and when he got to me he would out stretch him arms and then collapse on the ground, by his 5th lap I realized he was playing Boston Marathon winner. He was watching the finish with me and was very concerned that the winner was laying on the road after. Later he kept saying, "I'm sweaty" and would wipe his face with the bottom of his shirt. I finally asked him why he was doing that and he replied, "Like basketball guys". He's been watching Uncle Pete's basketball team play for the past few weeks. On the way to nap Boyd instructed me to carry 3 boats, a few fish, and a fishing pole all from a game. When I inquired why he replied, "Just in case." Boyd was in bed before I snuggled in since I was finding a place for the flood supplies and when I picked up the book and turned to the first page he told me, "No, I started already" while turning a few pages. Kids say the funniest things. The pictures are from our trip to Purina Farms yesterday. I thought Boyd just ran laps in the barn but I guess he did stop momentarily several times to pet the animals. Mom and dad were happy to rest on the tractor ride.

Oh, and Boyd refuses to wear pants or shorts unless they are red. We went to Target on a red shorts mission today since his only pair have a hole and they had no red shorts. I convinced him to pick another pair and he chose a pair of bright green ones. Wish us luck.
