The weather hasn't stopped us from fun! This weekend we went to our Parents as Teachers Vehicle Day Workshop and Boyd had a blast. We finally saw sun today and Boyd wanted to walk to the Crazy Driver Park (he named it that because of a car that he drives like a madman there- no pictures of that today). After lunch Boyd took his pals Buzz and Woody who go almost everywhere with us these days outside to play.

So this picture is out of order but it was an after thought. After I uploaded the vehicle day 2011 pictures I decided to look back at vehicle day 2010. I was shocked by how much Boyd has grown. If things happened in the past Boyd refers to it happening yesterday. When recalling things in story form he'll tell me, "Yesterday when I was a baby..."

This is Boyd's I am doing something I know I shouldn't face as he goes the wrong way up the slide. Interestingly enough when we first arrived at the park he scolded a boy who was doing this, telling him it was danger.

Too cute for a caption.

Yes, Boyd does cry. I know this seems mean but I never capture this emotion on film so I took the opportunity of a spill at the park to show you even Big Boyd's cry. Boyd is very intrigued by this picture.

Boyd has been into The Very Hungry Caterpillar books. I brought up some of his old hungry caterpillar baby toys and he now uses them as props to act out the story.

Motorcycle man in the mist. The owner taught Boyd how to beep the horn. He quickly found out that was a mistake as Boyd held down the button just listening to the sound like music to his ears.

Driving the firetruck and pushing every button in sight.

Working with mom in the excavator.

A really big construction truck!

When Boyd drove the semi he began singing "Life is a Highway"- how appropriate. We were also happy daddy was home to share this special day with us.

Licking the batter! After I took this photo I told Boyd to look in the mirror. By the time I caught up with him (about 20 seconds behind) he had wiped some of it off his face and decided to use the mix to write his ABC's on the mirror. That's what he told me at least.
